Shaz and Adrian

While checking her e-mail one day, Kathleen came across an inquiry from Shaz.  Shaz was getting married at Stone Manor Country Club and was thinking about hiring a wedding coordinator to help bring all of the wedding details together.  She was also thinking about hiring a wedding coordinator to be at the venue on the day of the wedding to make sure everything ran smoothly and as planned.  While she was interested in learning about the services Wolf’s Weddings by Kathleen had to offer, she had not yet decided if she thought she really wanted to hire a coordinator.  After sending information about ways she can help, Kathleen heard back from Shaz.  Everything Kathleen had said sounded great, but Shaz wanted to make sure she was going to make the right decision.  Shaz told Kathleen she would think about it some more and then get back to her.  A few days later Kathleen heard back from Shaz.  Shaz had gone to WeddingWire to read reviews about Wolf’s Weddings by Kathleen.  After learning about how happy the company’s former clients had been, Shaz decided she definitely wanted to hire a wedding coordinator and she wanted that coordinator to be Kathleen.

About a month before the wedding, Kathleen met with Shaz and her fiancé, Adrian.  Shaz and Adrian told Kathleen they were bringing their baby with them.  Kathleen was excited to get to meet this little one.  On the day of the meeting, Shaz and Adrian arrived with their baby, their dog.  A dog lover herself, Kathleen was excited to learn that their dog would be a member of their wedding party.  After meeting the dog, Kathleen walked the grounds with Shaz and Adrian.  As they were walking, Kathleen went over many wedding details with the soon to be bride and groom.  Shaz is Persian American and wanted to bring her culture into her wedding.  There would be a traditional American ceremony as well as a Persian ceremony.  Shaz and Adrian had a number of vendors working together to make their dream day become a reality.  These included a caterer, a separate event staff company to serve the food, a baker, a photographer, a videographer, a DJ, a florist, a company to provide tables, a company to provide a stage, a lighting company, transportation and hair and make-up.

After their meeting Kathleen got right to work going over the wedding day details with all of the vendors.  She made sure everyone knew Shaz and Adrian’s vision for their wedding day and the venue’s wedding day rules.  As the wedding day approached, Kathleen made sure everything was all ready to go!

When the wedding day arrived Kathleen and her assistant Dave arrived early and began the set-up.  There was a lot to do to make sure Shaz and Adrian’s vision came to fruition.  Kathleen checked in with the vendors as they arrived.  Each vendor got right to work.  Kathleen was so happy to see everything coming together beautifully!

Kathleen checked in with the bride and groom throughout the day.  As it was getting close to the time for the ceremony to begin, Kathleen began to line up the bridal party.  Shaz and Adrian had done first looks but did not want to see each other again until the ceremony.  Kathleen made sure their request was honored.

When the ceremony music began, Kathleen opened the door of the manor and the procession began.  Adrian was the first out and was escorted down the aisle by his mother and father.  The song they walked down to was Pharrell’s Happy.  Adrian and his parents danced the whole way down.  The song continued to play as the bridal party made their way down the aisle.  Each member of the bridal party danced during their entire walk from the manor to the front of the ceremony.  The rest of the ceremony was just as fun as the walk down the aisle.

Once the combination American and Persian ceremonies finished the guests made their way to the cocktail hour and then into the tent for the reception.  The reception included a first dance, mother son dance, father daughter dance being sung by the bride’s mother, knife dance, cake cutting and dancing to a variety of types of songs.  Shaz and Adrian had previously decided to add an extra hour onto their reception.  When the end of the night came the buses were outside ready to take the guests home.  Everyone was having so much fun the DJ kept playing music and the guests kept dancing.  Vendors came to clean up and were unable to finish their work because of all the guests still enjoying themselves.  While Kathleen was glad everyone was having fun, she also knew that Shaz and Adrian would lose their deposit if everyone and everything was not off the venue property within one hour after the end of the reception.  Kathleen got on the stage, thanked everyone for coming, and asked the guests to make their way out of the tent.  Kathleen and Dave hustled to get all of their cleaning done and to help other vendors finish in time as well.

Kathleen was so glad that everyone, especially the bride and groom, had such a fun time throughout the entire wedding!
