While growing up, many little girls dream about their wedding day. They often picture themselves in a horse drawn carriage with their Prince Charming by their side. One beautiful summer day this dream became a reality for one of our couples, Carin and Michael.
Carin and Michael were planning to get married at Stone Manor Country Club. Carin works in the wedding industry and had been at the venue several times. She always knew this was the place where she wanted to have her wedding. The company Carin works for supplies a horse drawn carriage for couples on their wedding day. Before she ever got engaged, Carin knew she wanted to have this be a part of her own wedding. When Carin and Michael got engaged and started planning their wedding, they felt they had an easier time than many couples. From working in the industry, Carin knew which vendors would give her the day she had always wanted. Kathleen was so honored when Carin asked Kathleen from Wolf’s Weddings by Kathleen to be her wedding coordinator.
Kathleen met with Carin and Michael during the planning process to go over the wedding details and sign a contract. Being in the industry, Carin felt confident in handling all of the planning herself. She wanted Kathleen to come in the month before to confirm and finalize all of the wedding day details. Kathleen would then also be there on the weekend of the wedding to run the rehearsal and make sure the wedding day itself was what Carin had always dreamed of.
A month before the wedding, Kathleen and Danielle met with Carin, Michael and Carin’s mom at Stone Manor. They walked the grounds and discussed all of the details of the wedding day. Carin and Michael still had some décor and logistical decisions they had to make. While walking the grounds of the venue, Kathleen and Danielle were able to offer some ideas that Carin and Michael loved. As they left the venue, Carin, Michael and Carin’s mom all told Kathleen and Danielle how great they are feeling about the wedding after this meeting.
After the meeting, Kathleen and Danielle got right to work confirming all of the details with each vendor. When the wedding day came, everyone was ready and on the same page. The day ran as smoothly and beautifully as Carin and Michael had hoped. It was so exciting to watch Carin pull up to the ceremony in the horse drawn carriage and then ride away with Michael after becoming husband and wife.
