Being in the wedding planning profession means I get to work with many different people every year. Brides, grooms, bridal parties, parents and vendors all come to the wedding planning process with different personalities and different ideas about how things should be done. I have to say that I have been pretty lucky so far. Many of the people I have worked with over the years have been wonderful people and a lot of fun to work with.
One couple that really stands out is Sarah and Tommy. Sarah contacted me a little over a year before when they were hoping to get married. They had a general time frame in mind for their wedding day and a general idea of the type of venue in which they wanted the wedding to take place. They were looking for a wedding planner to help them from the very beginning of the planning process so we made plans to meet. From our very first face to face meeting I knew I would be very lucky to get to work with this couple. They proved me right throughout the entire wedding planning process.
Whether we were discussing little details or the big, overall vision for the wedding, every time I communicated with Sarah or Tommy it was a wonderful experience. They are two genuinely good hearted people who brought positive energy to any situation they were dealing with.
While I know I will work with many more wonderful couples in the future, my experience with Sarah and Tommy will not soon be forgotten. Every wedding planner deserves the chance to work with their own Sarah and Tommy. Thank you to the two of you for being you!
